What is Adsense?

Adsense – A monetization method owned by Google that allows a person to get paid a percentage for clicks that people make on their Adsense ads. Typicaly the ads advertise products or services that are related to the information that’s on the web page. For example, if your web page is talking about cats, then the Adsense ads will advertise relevant cat-related products and services.

So that’s the technical definition. Basically it’s a way for you to share the advertising profits that Google rakes in every day of the year.

You put small snippet of code on your website, or click a button with WordPress, and you are now displaying Google Ads on YOUR blog or website, ads that are RELEVANT to the content on your blog or website. Relevant ads get clicked on, every-time someone click on an ad you get paid.
